About Lisa Paints Pets

There have always been two constants in my life: art and animals. As a little girl, when I wasn’t riding horses, I was drawing them. Those early days filled with the joy of sketching my equine friends laid the foundation for my lifelong love of capturing the essence of animals through art.

Over the years, my relationship with art and animals has evolved. While my subjects have changed from horses to the three beloved dogs that now fill my home—Flower, Tulip, and Daisy—my passion remains steadfast. My husband, Frank, and I share our lives with these wonderful companions, and it is their playful spirits and unique personalities that inspire my work every day.

By day, I navigate the structured world of accounting, but my true sanctuary lies in the world of oil painting. It is in my studio, surrounded by vibrant colors and blank canvases, that I find peace, clarity, and boundless inspiration. Through Lisa Paints Pets, I strive to reflect the personality and soul of the animals who capture our hearts. My goal is to create art worthy of being treasured for generations as a reminder of the connections shared with our animal family members, whose time with us is always too short.

Each portrait is a labor of love, a tribute to the special bond we share with our pets. Whether it’s the mischievous glint in a cat’s eye or the loyal gaze of a dog, I pour my heart into every detail, ensuring that each piece captures the true essence of its subject. My hope is that these paintings serve not only as beautiful artworks but as cherished keepsakes that honor the animals who bring so much joy to our lives.

Thank you for visiting Lisa Paints Pets. I look forward to creating a unique and heartfelt portrait that celebrates the beloved pets who have touched your life as deeply as my four-legged family members have touched mine.
